2026 F1 in 3D

A showroom for a generic 2026 Formula 1 car that pulls apart in two stages: the bodywork first, then a procedural power unit built in code inside it. Pick any part, in 3D or from the list, to read its copy, stats and sources. A rules toggle flips the car between the 2022 and 2026 regulations, and a One lap mode shows the active aero flaps opening on the straights.

Details

Eight liveries painted in the shader from data, because the scanned model has no UVs
A pit-stop challenge, and a wind tunnel at /tunnel: swap the front wing and floor, set the rear wing angle, aero mode, ride height, halo and speed, and a table-driven score card and the airflow both change
The airflow is GPU particles deflected by a baked signed distance field, not CFD, and the page says so
The same shared exploded-view engine as the other two Interactive sites, on Next.js 16 and React Three Fiber
The model is "F1 2026 concept" by Qvist_Designs (CC BY 4.0), split into parts with filan214's APEX project (CC BY 4.0) and modified for the site; the power unit is built in code
