Full-stack engineer, 12+ years. At Dealer Alchemist I build Next.js and NestJS services on PostgreSQL: attribute-based access control, Auth0 identity sync, Redis-queued jobs, and the internal tools the team runs on. Six years with one team through a rename and an acquisition, over three of them as Director of Front-End Development; before that, e-commerce at DICK'S Sporting Goods. Designed and built a commercial sim-racing SaaS serving 7,000+ racers.

Building the Next.js and NestJS platform powering 100+ automotive retailers, owning its page-builder UI and Storybook design system while expanding into backend ownership.
Designed and built attribute-based access control in NestJS: a scope, grant, and entitlement model on 14 new PostgreSQL tables (Drizzle), with Redis-cached resolution.
Migrated authorization across 10+ backend modules onto one unified guard, and built an Auth0 (OAuth2/SSO) identity integration with a Redis-queued Postgres sync.
Built an agentic sales-chat proof of concept for dealer sites, using LLM tool calling over live inventory, finance, and lead APIs.
Built internal full-stack tools for a team of 10+ engineers, including a live PR board synced from GitHub and Jira over server-sent events, with CI-gated migrations on Google Cloud SQL.
Led a pod of 2-4 engineers before choosing to return to hands-on delivery.

Owned front-end delivery for a multi-tenant WordPress and PHP platform, building the shared hero, header, navigation, and CTA components behind 190+ dealer themes.
Built the vehicle search and detail pages, including Algolia-powered instant search and filtering, and integrated payment-calculator and lead-form vendors.
Merged 600+ pull requests into the shared release branch, over half from 9+ teammates, as the front-end team's release gatekeeper.
Led accessibility remediation of dealer homepages and headers, and shipped GA4 event tracking platform-wide in a two-week rollout.

Streamed FiveM and other titles full-time while building and operating Dockerized FiveM game servers: React NUI in-game interfaces, Lua gameplay resources, MongoDB and MariaDB backends.
Open-sourced the resulting server framework, since forked 81 times by other developers.
