Little AI Lab
Ten short lessons on what AI is, then a lab where kids aged 4 to 13 build small AIs of their own.

Details
How it was builtThe lessons, led by Pip, the lab's guide, cover how AI learns from examples, why its guesses can be wrong, and where kids already meet it. Then My Lab, a playground of seven projects they build and keep: a sticker sorter that learns categories, a robot that learns a maze, a guess-my-favourite recommender, an art studio, a game builder, a problem solver and a scientist mode.
Three age bands share every screen, and the youngest never has to read: everything is read aloud and every action is a tap or a drag. The classifiers, the recommender and the maze learner are framework-free TypeScript modules with unit tests, and the components only render them.
Built for parents to trust: no camera, microphone or uploads, no accounts, analytics or third-party scripts. Progress lives in the browser, and the app installs and works offline.
